Drop-in Storytime

All Ages

Our weekly drop-in storytimes run year-round and are jammed-packed full of fun! Expect an hour of stories, songs, crafts and playtime for the whole family. Come on out and get to know the other families in your community while nuturing your child's love of books and reading. The 30 minute program is followed by 30 minutes of play time/parent social time. No registration necessary, just drop-by! Oh, and it's FREE.

We know how much you love your mom.  So why not give her something that steps the traditional hand-made card up a notch? Drop-in, all ages, first come, first served. $2/card

Step right up and see the roots of animation! Assemble and experiment with your own animation-loop device right here in our Hacker Lab. $5 Registration is required; this is a two-part workshop.

Celebrate the opening of the Cookstown Splash Pad!  Join us as we celebrate Cookstown Branch's 5th anniversary with a splish splash bash!  Enjoy live entertainment, leave a memory in the Memory Maker, and participate in activities and games for the family.  Snack on popcorn, cupcakes, hot dogs and hamburgers provided by our community partners.  Get ready for a splashing good time!
